Members of the Hornets Nest Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America (HNR AACA) will offer instruction for completion of many requirements of Automotive Maintenance Merit Badge at the Fall 2024 Hornets Nest AutoFest at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 21. The course will cover all requirements except 8 d, 11 abcd, and 12. Scouts will attend one session, either at 9:30 a.m. or at 1:30 p.m. Each session will last about 2 hours.
This program is open to any registered Scouts BSA member from any Council.
On-line registration is required. Registration will record mailing addresses of car drivers, parents, and Scout leaders who should receive AutoFest tickets (1 per Scout and 1 per adult) and parking passes (1 per vehicle). Registration will close on Thursday, September 5.
About September 6, the Auto Club will mail AutoFest tickets and parking passes.
Because of generous support from HNR AACA, entry to the AutoFest and parking in the Youth Program area are free with registration in advance.
Scout leaders and parents are welcome to attend.
